INBECOMING

A breathwork series to honour our transitions

We spend most of our lives becoming

Between who we were and who we are arriving at. Between the life we have known and the one that is asking to be lived. Between the loss of what was and the not-yet of what is coming.

Most of us have been taught to move through these times as quickly as possible. To hold it together. To figure it out. To get to the other side.

But what if the middle place is not something to escape? What if it is asking for something more than endurance?

Transition does not have to be a lone process — something you grip your way through. INBecoming is a space to honour the movements within and the changes outside of you. To slow down to what is actually happening. To be witnessed by others who are also in the middle of something. To tether yourself to your own wisdom while held in community.

The breath as a companion through change

The breathwork we do in INBecoming is not what most people imagine when they hear that word.

It is gentle, simple, and led entirely by your own intention. Before each session you are invited to turn toward what matters most to you right now — what you are moving through, what you are moving toward. The breath then becomes a vehicle for that inquiry.

What happens is unique to every person. Some people experience deep releases. Others have experiences so subtle they wonder if anything is happening at all. Both are exactly right. In this work, you only go where you feel safe to go. The body has its own intelligence and its own timing.
This is a self-mastery process. You are not being fixed or guided toward a particular outcome. You are being witnessed while you find your own way.

People often find:

  • A deeper ease with uncertainty and change

  • The ability to stay present with difficult emotions rather than pushing through or shutting down

  • A nervous system that meets transitions with greater steadiness

  •  Clarity about what they truly want on the other side of this threshold

  •  A felt sense of being held — by their own body, and by others who understand

For the seekers and the self-questioners

This container is for the people who think deeply and care deeply. Who know that something is shifting but find it hard to let go and let things unfold. Who are right in the middle of something huge and just want a space to be with it, and in it.

It is for the ones who have done the inner work — the therapy, the reflection, the reading — and who sense that something deeper still wants to move. Not through more understanding, but through the body itself.

You may be navigating grief. A career that no longer fits. A relationship changing shape. An identity you are slowly shedding. A new version of yourself arriving before the old one has fully left.

Whatever transition you are in — it belongs here.

INBecoming is intentionally small. Just 5 people, held across two weekends in August.

Weekend 1: Saturday 1st August and Sunday 2nd August

Weekend 2: Saturday 15th August and Sunday 16th August

9am UK / 10am South Africa / 6pm Sydney

Each session is 3 hours. We breathe together, reflect together, and make space for what is unfolding. Between the two weekends there is an optional check-in on the weekend of the 8th August, and time for what has begun to move to continue integrating.

Investment: £350 for the full journey

This space is for you if

  • You are in a season of transition — one you chose or one that arrived uninvited

  • You long for community that understands the complexity of becoming

  • You are curious about body-based work and ready to explore what lies beneath the understanding

  • You have never tried breathwork before but feel a quiet pull toward it

  • You want to be witnessed, not fixed

This space may not be the right fit if

  • you are looking for quick techniques or instant answers

  • you prefer purely intellectual approaches to inner work

  • you are not open to exploring your experience through the body

About Your Facilitators

Dzifa Afonu

Dzifa is a psychologist, breathwork facilitator in the final stages of her 2.5 year training, and founder of LushBeing a brand built around the philosophy of lush, abundant, embodied living. She is also a portrait artist and founder of WITNESSED — a bespoke art ritual that captures someone’s story at a significant life turning point in words, illustration and a handcrafted book.

She has spent over a decade supporting people through complex emotional and relational challenges. Over time she found that even when people understood their patterns deeply, their bodies often continued to carry them. This led her toward somatic breathwork and to over two and a half years of training in a therapeutic modality that works at the level of the nervous system.

She knows this territory not only as a practitioner but as someone who lives it. She is currently navigating her own season of profound transition the loss of her mother, the relocation of her family to South Africa, and the ongoing unfolding of who she is becoming.

INBecoming is the space she has been dreaming into for a long time. She cannot wait to welcome you.

Santhiya Santhiapillai

Santhiya is a certified Breathwork Mastery (RBM) Practitioner, mother of three and former paediatric physiotherapist, who brings a warm, grounded and highly attuned presence to the spaces she co-creates.

With a lifelong fascination for the body’s capacity to heal, she supports people to release whatever is no longer serving their joy and purpose, reconnect with their truth and return to a deeper sense of freedom and wholeness.

At it’s core, her work is shaped by her belief in the infinite potential of the human spirit, and is ever-evolving through both the spaces she holds for others, and the unfolding process of her own life.

Santhiya is not interested in having the answers. Instead, she cares much more about lovingly illuminating what hasn’t been seen, and witnessing personal truths emerge. She is devoted to personal liberation as a means to liberation of the collective.
